Managing Director
WE ALL have a duty to work safely.
When it comes to matters of safety, we like to be ahead of the
game. From Monday February 23, cable break and spring brake
devices became an integral part of every door kit - not an
option. This means all new doors will comply with current safety
standards that will, in any case, become mandatory from May
2005.
This protects your reputation and ours.

Success |
|
| Training is one of those
activities that benefits everyone. It enables fitters to
do a better job, more quickly and with greater
confidence. The end user has a safer installation that
will require less service attention and we can |

Most courses take place at
Stockport where we have a dedicated training suite.
However, we can train on client premises where required.
Group size varies from two to a maximum of eight, with a

|
| Mike Deasey, our senior
research and development man has perfected his training
techniques over many years. He runs two one day courses
for the installation and repair of sectional doors and
roller shutter/fire doors. These can be taken as
separate days or over two days back to back Instruction
combines a little theory with a lot of hands-on practice
so that on completion the fitters have really earned
their Certificate of Competance. |
|
So who benefits? "I have
trained everyone from raw recruits to veterans with 20
years experience. Usually trainees have an engineering
background but I have also trained joiners and once
trained a chef who went on to develop a successful
business. Everyone goes away with new expertise that
improves their safety, skill and professionalism."
Mike concluded.

Door Fitting Made Easy |
|
| INDUPART have developed a springless barrel
roller shutter that we are convinced is the most fitter friendly on the
market. We have also concentrated on maintaining high levels of quality
and reliability.
"There was no point in making a door this easy to fit, if you
need an electrician to complete the wiring and commissioning."
commented Mike Deasey, Indupart's senior research and development
engineer, "so we supply the door with a completely pre-wired motor
system from Elero, you simply set the limits and plug the motor system
into your client's socket."
|
 |
| A clever innovation means there are no
even polarity problems with the client's phases. The
design of the plug enables you to change polarity,
simply by removing the plug from the socket and using
the screwdriver to turn the phase pins through 180
degrees. There is no need to remove electrical control
panels, so you don't need an electrician.
This shutter is unique - you can even change motor
handing on-site in minutes, with the minimum of fuss. We
have developed this and other products in our range by
listening to you the installer, so we can make the
product easier to fit.
Sounds too good to be true? We suggest you give it a
try. |
