A Triumph For Sara
INDEPENDENT installers, SARA have just completed a major door project for the classic British bike builder, Triumph, at their Hinkley plant. The new building for motorcycle assembly and despatch has 20 Indupart sectional doors of all sizes from 3 x 3 metres to 5 x 6 metres. Ten doors were on elevated loading bays and ten on level access points. All doors are manufactured using Ward panels.

In addition, Indupart has supplied 12 fire shutters, again of various sizes, from three metre square to just short of six metre square. All doors were supplied in kit form for rapid on site assembly and to an agreed schedule so that the building could be secured during construction and fit-out. SARA undertook the job in three phases, completing the programme on time. The success of an earlier project in 1999, when seven sectional doors were supplied, led to their selection for the rest of the project.

We are actively working on the development of the next generation of advanced industrial doors. panels, are undergoing accelerated life testing at our research and development centre in Stockport. When the new door is launched on to the market, we will have total confidence in its performance and reliability.
